Camping Beringerzand has a rich history

Over 100 years....

Camping Beringerzand is the oldest holiday resort of the Netherlands!

Our history can be seen and read on the wonderful information signs in the mini golf garden.

The midget golf garden is the former 'Maria-garden'  of the Lazarists. The route of the mini golf game will lead you back to these days long gone. You will even walk through the ruin of the LOURDES-cave'. In 1905 a hall was built where people could enjoy their dinner in the afternoon. This is the characteristic convent building Patershof, at the entrance of the camp site. In 1908 the terrain was named Emmaus, which served as weekly holiday resort for scholastics and novices until 1965. Thanks to fresh spirit of enterprise and fantasy of these spiritual students the terrain could compete with the Garden of Eden. The fishpond was dug out manually and served, in those days, as first swimming pool in the municipality of Helden!

Since 1970 Camping Beringerzand is a small village (20 ha, with approximately 250 permanent and 350 tourist places) fitted with all modern conveniences.

We kindly welcome you to our wonderful mini golf garden. The price for mini golf is € 3,50 per person, inclusive of a drink to the value of € 2,00 on our terrace or in the bar of Patershof. For guests of our camp site mini golf is included in the price.
